What is Go2 and DRT?
Go2 is a type of Demand Responsive Transport (bus) service, this means you tell us when you want the bus and we'll get it to you! Journeys may be shared with other passengers - so your journey may not be direct but don't worry our App will tell you an estimated time of arrival!

This service will operate bus stop to bus stop not door to door, the app will direct you to your nearest bus stop.

How do I make a booking?
Download the "Go2 Kent" app to you mobile device. You will then need to create an account with us, then you're ready to make your journey!

When should I book?
You cannot book in advance on this service, book when you need the bus and you will be offered options between time of your booking query and up to 40 minutes after. If the service is busy you may not be able to book but the app can also tell you when other buses are due to ensure you get to your destination as quickly as possible.

How do I pay?
You can pay cash, card or add credit to your account, if you have a card linked to your account the fare will automatically be deducted at the end of the ride. The go2 pass is now £37 but all journeys can be paid in cash or by card.

             

What tickets are valid?
Only tickets booked via the app are valid on this service.

How to use our on Demand App

  1. Download our app, search go2 Kent in your app store or Google play.
  2. You’ll need to sign up to use go2 for the first time. Or, login if you have already created an account.
  3. You’ll need to enter some personal and payment information before making your first booking. If you have a concessionary pass, you’ll need to call us for help registering on 01732 463964.
  4. Enter your pick-up address. You can add locations to a favourites menu!
  5. Enter your destination address. Like before, you can set favourite locations to make life easier.
  6. Choose the ride proposal that best fits your needs. You may be sharing the ride with other passengers.
  7. To help find the right bus, the registration plate and your drivers name is shown. You can track your vehicle’s progress to your location!
  8. You may need to walk a short distance to meet your bus. In most cases your bus will come straight to your location!
  9. On the bus! Please have your concessionary bus pass ready to show the driver or, if you are paying cash please use the correct change. Then sit back and enjoy your ride.
