Otford High Street Closure

Otford High Street has been closed until Wednesday 29 October and our school services which would normally serve the Telston Lane, Willow Park loop are unable to follow the normal lines of route and will be diverted as follows:-

Route TW3 will wait its time at Otford Pond and will not serve Telston Lane or Willow Park.

Route S2 will operate from Twitton via Telston Lane, Willow Park and Rye lane where it will then turn left and run along the open bit of Pilgrims Way West and Dunton Green to serve Wilderness Campus.

All school services (except those listed below) will operate in week commencing Monday 27th October

Services NOT operating are:-

234 Langton Green - Skinners Kent Academy

S7 Westerham - Wilderness Campus (customers are advised to use service s8 instead)

S10 South Darenth - Wilderness Campus (service S12 will operate from Crockenhill/Swanley as normal and customers are advised to use this service instead)

S32 St Pauls Cray - Wilderness Campus (service s3 will start/finish from St Pauls Cray at 0717 before running at its normal time over its normal route from Spur Road Orpington. We regret that there will be no service from Glentrammon Road, Windsor Drive, Chelsfield or The Highway, customers from these points are advised to join the s3 at The Queens Head at Green Street Green at 0737.

477 Road Closure and Diversion FURTHER UPDATE

DUE TO AN EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE IN COMMON LANE WE ARE NOW UNABLE TO OPERATE THE PLANNED DIVERSION ON ROUTE 477.

Buses will be using Oakfield Lane in both directions and will be unable to serve the section of normal route between Wilmington Stores and the Hawley Road.

The only 477 stops which can be served "normally" will be those between Home Gardens and The Orange Tree in Dartford and Swanley Asda. 

The shuttle service between Hextable Green and Swanley ASDA will continue as planned.

Route D12 to become the 477S

The route currently numbered D12 between Swanley and the Wilmington and Dartford Schools will be re-numbered 477s after Sunday 27 October.

There are NO changes to route or times and our School Service Fares will still apply on this service.

The Wednesday afternoon journey at 1438 from Wilmington Girls Grammar will continue to run to cater for the early finish there and will also be known as the 477s.

KCC Travel Saver Tickets

The period of grace to allow time for the distribution of passes at schools has now ended.

From Monday 15th September onwards ALL users of our services will be expected to scan a pass or pay a fare for their journey.

Any user who cannot scan a pass or pay for their journey will be refused travel.

If you were late in applying for your Travel Saver Ticket and have not yet received it, you must ensure you have sufficient funds with you to pay for your journey until you do get it. Our drivers will not accept emails/letters as evidence of pre-payment, if the ticket does not scan on the ticket machine it will not be accepted and a cash/contactless payment must be made for that journey.

Fares on School Services are £5.00 Single or £8.00 Day Return if paying by cash. This is reduced to £3.70 per journey if paying by contactless card each time you board.
