Changes to bus services

From 1^st September 2025

We regret to announce that Go Coach will cease to operate the following routes after 31^st August.

470 – Longfield – Bean – Bluewater – Darenth

Withdrawn without replacement. Please seek advice from Kent County Council

479 – New Ash Green – Longfield – Bluewater

489 – New Ash Green – Longfield – Gravesend

Otford Closure

Route 2 Diversion

SGN are replacing the gas main in Station Road and Sevenoaks Road in Otford between Wednesday 23^rd July and 31^st August 2025 which effectively closes the A225 for this period.

We will have to divert Route 2 during this time and will not be able to serve Otford and Shoreham Stations and then any of the route between Shoreham and Eynsford.

The route 2 bus will serve normal line of route between Sevenoaks Bus Station and Otford Pond, it will then divert via Otford High Street, Polhill and the M25. The bus will then return to serve Eynsford before turning at the station and continuing on to Faringham and Swanley.

This is a significant diversion and whilst we will continue to operate all journeys there are likely to be delays to the published timetable. 

We will keep this under review and revert to the normal route as quickly as possible.

We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause.

Oakfield Lane Closure

We regret that Oakfield Lane Dartford is now closed until 17th August and buses on routes 429 will divert via Heath Lane Upper and Princes Road.

These bus route will not be able to serve the stops for NW Kent College in Oakfield Lane or the stops at The Orange Tree in both directions.

Route 208 - Lower Green Road (Stone Court Lane) Closure

Due to the closure of Lower Green Road, which means we will be unable to serve Stone Court Lane,
