Route 8 diversions

Route 8 is plagued by 2 separate sets of roadworks at the moment which is causing us to have to divert it away from some key stops

The "top" loop which would normally operate from the Bus Station via Julian's Way back to the Bus Station is unable to serve Brittains Lane and is therefore serving Julian's Way by double running along Oak Lane in both directions.

Stops at Sevenoaks Station, Braeside Avenue and Brittains Lane cannot be served on this loop.

These works are likely to be completed by Sunday 8th June so we should be able to resume normal line of route on this section as from Monday morning.

The "lower" loop which would normally operate via Wickenden Road, Littlewood, Hillingdon Avenue, Seal Hollow Road, Bayham Road and Quakers Hall Road is unable to serve these roads and the bus will operate direct via St Johns Hill instead. 

These works are likely to be completed by Friday 13th June so we should be able to resume normal line of route on this section as from Saturday morning.
